A gem Walking distance from our hotel but well worth a taxi ride, this restaurant is a real gem. Bistro with seating for maybe 40 people, the menu is not extensive and nor is the wine list. But the choices are there to please most. We shared a pâté de compagne followed by Cod for one and Zander for the other. Both absolutely perfectly cooked: the only b- mol being that the plates could have been warmer. We also shared a crème brûlée which was good but not great. Super service. Wines were excellent, Roederer as a house champagne and an excellent Sancerre. Absolutely a keeper!

Delicious food & great service This cozy restaurant was not far from where I was staying and wanted to try it out. The food was delicious and service was just as wonderful. I was alone but given the same attention as a larger group who came in a little after I did. I asked the waitress if it was a family run business and she confirmed it was. It became busy and both her and her brother were waiting tables. True gem of a restaurant that I’ll be returning to and recommending for sure!

Superb We had a lovely mid-week meal here. The food was excellent and the wines were delicious. Violette (the hostess) was also absolutely charming. Whenever I return to Paris, I know exactly which restaurant will be first on my list to visit.

Fantastic little brasserie! Fantastic little gem! Very nice brasserie with classic interior and great service! And the food is to die for. Straight forward well cooked super tasty classic dishes! And i love the fact that some of the dishes are sold out if you’re late in order to keep the food fresh and cooked a la minute! Also check the winelist for some interesting choices, some hiden gems in there as well. I will be back for sure next time in Paris! Could dine here every night. No fuss, no bull. Just great food and wine! What more to ask for?

Restaurant de quartier Dans le quartier de la Madeleine, ce restaurant brasserie est fréquenté par les habitués du quartier. Accueil chaleureux et cuisine fraiche offrant des plats tels que mon magret de canard à la purée de carottes au plat du jour. J’aurais apprécié ma viande un peu plus tendre.

Amazing little gem I was in paris for 3 nights and went here twice. Food was amazing both nights. First night I went by myself and the place was packed. The owner was great. She took the time to greet everyone,took orders served food and made/served drinks and still took the time to have a little chats with the customers to make everyone feel welcome as best she could. I was so impressed with everything, I brought a friend back the next night. She recognized me and since it was a little less busy on a Thursday night she took the time to talk with us about our trip and the places we went to visit. The food was great. I reccomend the veal or the steak was not disappointed with either at all. The desserts were decadent. Best Creme Brulee I've ever had. The atmosphere was great the service and the food were impeccable. Really some of the best memories of my 2 week Europe trip.

super!!! l'ultima sera della nostra vacanza a Parigi, abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo ristorante, che si trovava praticamente sotto l'appartamento in cui abbiamo alloggiato, e che piacevole sorpresa! Appena entrati siamo stati accolti con fare cordiale dalla titolare Violette, che oltre ad essersi dimostrata gentile, ha saputo cosigliarci un ottimo vino, abbinato alla scelta del menù scelto, Maison Bes, è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa, ambiente romantico, ottimi i piatti, ottima scelta di vini, e anche degli ottimi cognac, per chi come noi, ha voluto chiudere la cena con un drink. Consiglio Maison Bes, vivamente, se siete in vacanza a Parigi non esitate! A pochi passi da Place de la Madeleine, una perla fantastica!

Un bon compromis L'endroit est charmant, la cuisine de qualité et le service, quoique basique, est efficace. Les prix sont bien entendu "parisiens". Une belle expérience pour un diner entre amis ou en famille, bien que la brasserie soit plutôt orientée "business".

Great food - excellent service! Walking the streets of Paris and Maison Bes was a true gem to find and experience. The food was great and service was excellent including a comfortable English speaker on the Owner side. Open for dinner from 7-10pm and that was perfect!
